Bio: Liam Scanlan
Author of four business books, two on the subject of driving traffic to a business's website, Liam Scanlan has been an entrepreneur for fifteen years. In that time he has founded and co-founded four companies. Before that he worked for Siemens (formerly Nixdorf Computer AG) in Europe, Asia and Australia for twelve years, and Microsoft as project manager in their Finance Division for five years.
As 'father' of their flagship product (then called) BackupReport, he co-founded Bocada in 1999, a Bellevue-based software company funded by Madrona Ventures in Seattle. Bocada continues to operate profitably to this day.
Scanlan holds six US patents in software and hardware design. His latest company, SiteLeads.net, builds competitive, end-to-end web presence for small to medium-sized companies wishing to take advantage of the web using the latest technologies available.
